I have to admit it; I am a bit of a loose cannon. I’m just out there, on the fringe of the law, dipping my feet over the sides into Crazy Territory. I can’t help myself, it’s in my rebellious nature.
The revolution began today. At work, we’ve had new paper towel dispensers put into the [...]

Alas it is a sad day for all. Iconic japester Jeremy Beadle has died. After a battle with cancer, the great Beadle was struck down with leukaemia and, alas, couldn’t fight it off. The original TV practical joker has moved on.
I’m fairly certain that Beadle would have wasted no time and, already, the theme tune [...]

Our Oriental cousins have proved to the world once again that they’re leagues ahead in the crazy race. Obviously bored with the ordinary dining experience of sitting on ‘chairs’ and eating from ‘tables’, the people of Taipei, Taiwan, have opened a chain of toilet-themed restaurants.
They’re called Modern Toilet and instead of chairs you have toilets and instead [...]

Nature is a cruel mistress. A mistress that may leave you cowering in the street wearing nothing but your Spider-man underpants whilst she sits inside and enjoys a nice cup of weak lemon drink.
Hi, I’m Greg Evigan. Join me as we discover what happens when things burrow, infect and generally do unpleasant things to other [...]

When I was younger, so much younger than today, my dear Grandad, gawd bless him, always used to tell me that watching too much television would send my eyes square. We laughed it off, thinking that in his aged state he was fearful of these new-fangled ‘televisions’. However, a new television has now been unleashed [...]

Whilst in Leicester I partook of tasty food at The Noodle Bar, a nice Chinese food place. When the menu was placed before me everything looked delicious but I couldn’t help staring at option number 77…
77. Fook Kin Fried Rice
I maintain that this is a cruel joke played on us by our Oriental friends and [...]

You’ll all be delighted to know that last Saturday both myself and Col. Orange of Randomlinkage comments fame ventured forth to Leicester’s own Phoenix theatre to witness their Grindhouse day. Over 6 hours of sleazy, violent movie going madness. Yaygasm.
First of all congrats to The Phoenix who organised a highly entertaining evening with barely a [...]

I don’t drink coffee, but we have some in the house for those guests that do, and on the back of our Tesco Rich Roast Instant Coffee Granules, there is a quote on the label that says
“I am definitely going to be rich and fabulous one day. I’ll just finish this classic instant coffee and then keep practising.”
What? [...]

If you were going to climb up to the top of a television tower, plug a laptop into it and do some super hardcore hacking on a grand scale, exactly what sort of mischief would you cause? Well it might be a good idea to take hints and tips from the Ztohoven group of people [...]

At work, above the urinals in the one of the Gents, there is a sign. The background is a picture of some other urinals (lovely) and some large wording that says
“PLEASE DO NOT PUT CHEWING GUM IN THE URINALS”
Underneath this request are a few more words, hastily scrawled on in biro, that say
“IT TASTES AWFUL”
Wah-wah-waaaaahhhh. [...]

With Zelda, Mario and Metroid now available for the Wii, I’m trying to plan ahead to see what games I will buy in the future for my beloved Wii. There are a few that look interesting and a few that look a bit crap.
Wii Want
Super Smash Bros Brawl. An essential title to any Nintendo fans [...]

At some point last year, I spied something on Amazon that excited me and caused me to immediately place an order. This object in question was not of the seedy persuasion but was in fact The Trapdoor Complete Collection on DVD.
I’m hoping that a few of you will have just had memories of Trapdoor and [...]

As a youngling I was more of a SEGA person and, therefore, was a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. Now the blue spikey one has teamed up with Mario in a few games, one being Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Unfortunately, they’ve maintained the annoying whiney American voice and attitude that came along with the dreadful [...]

Launched 12 months ago overseas, Microsoft’s Live Video Marketplace has recently hit the UK. As an opening offer they dropped the price of 300 to a piffling 100 Xbox Live Points. So what better time to dip my feet in the high-def bathtub and slosh the waters of the Video Martplace? Well none, which is [...]
