My lovely Mum bought me a few little pots of honey the other day. It’s called Manuka Honey and it comes from Maori bees in New Zealand. Each pot contains 250g of honey.
Each pot also costs £21.20.
EACH POT. Twenty quid for some honey! What’s the world coming to?! As if twenty quid wasn’t enough, there are pots of [...]

It’s immature, it’s childish, it’s purile… but it’s very, very funny.
You have to be very impressed by the way the fantastic Roy Walker handles the situation. Good old Roy, just keep on through it with a smile on your face and some manic laughter. The audience are also great, growing in hysteria every time another [...]

This Turkish take on Rambo proves that you don’t need a large budget or indeed skill of any kind to make entertaining cinema.
You just need rocket propelled grenades. An inexplicably never ending supply of rocket propelled grenades.
Witness all this and more:
A sudden guest appearance by Frank Spencer.
A villainous turn by a Vincent Price lookalike.
Dozens of [...]

I’m not one for obvious innuendo but… well…
The music exec who named this compilation album clearly wasn’t thinking about alternative meanings.

You’d think that the people who run football clubs, particularly Premiership ones, are too busy to have a bit of a laugh. They’re dealing with a multi-million pound business, they don’t have time for shenanigans. Well I thought this too, but I stumbled across a page on the interweb that proved me wrong.
For a bit [...]

The Nintendo Wii has a feature on it called the ‘Everybody Votes Channel’. It isn’t installed on the Wii by default, you actually have to go and physically download it to your Wii console. If you only ever listen to one piece of advice in your life then please make it this bit right here [...]

Apparently the global stock markets are having a bit of bother. I have no idea how stock markets work or what they do, but apparently shares are worth less so money is worth less, which affects banks and interest rates, or something like that anyway. Now I’m no economics expert, but I think I know what’s [...]

Dear Oxford English Dictionary,
You will no doubt be aware of amazing culinary genius Ken Hom. His cookware and kitchen utensils have bought delicious oriental cooking into the homes of millions of people across the United Kingdom. His cast iron 28cm sizzling dish has bought joy to many and I, for one, would be lost without his [...]

I love the fact that the entire crowd is captivated by one dozy guy rather than whatever sport they paid to watch, (likely baseball).

On paper: Pseudo-sequel to 1992 action-fest Hard Boiled with input from John Woo and starring Chow Yun Fat?
Sign me up.
The game: Third person blast em up jam-packed with stylish flourishes, or Woo-isms if you will.
This is a great demo. Wow, that was brief. But seriously, along with the much praised Crackdown demo, this is the [...]

It’s often amazed me that crowds of people gather at Big Brother eviction nights, stand around in an industrial estate somewhere for a few hours, cheer a bit, wave a banner, boo a bit, boo some more and then go home. Why? Just watch it on the telly.
Anna Pickard, of Guardian Unlimited Blogs fame, is [...]

To start off with, here’s a summary of the game Supreme Commander : Starts off with promise, peaks with some explosions, ends with some laggy disappointment.
Brief game information time : Supreme Commander is set against the time-honoured backdrop of ‘The Future’ and, as usual, the Human race has buggered things up. It has split up into [...]

No, he does. Mr Hu, a Chinese man, really hates flies with a passion. He despises the meagre fly to such a degree that he has mastered the art of catching them with his bare hands and crushing them in his vice-like human grip. He’s become such a fly-killing Hero that he even made it [...]
