My final day of Irish observations and we’re off to a very bizarre place indeed. Somewhere on a non-descript hill, which isn’t signposted, there is a road. Greenery and flora and flowers and sheep are to the sides of this little mountain track. It could look [...]

Spider-Man 3 is still nearly one year away. Forgiveable as it’s looking good already. I was wondering if they’re actually going to do a full-on comic style Venom, but they can’t be messing around removing wires and adding webs for 11 months can they? He has to be in there.

Day 4 of the observations, and I’m going to tell you about an Irish weatherman. We sat watching telly one evening (TV Three News, detail-fans) and on comes the weather. Martin King, a jovial looking Irish chap, appears. For me, it was clear to see [...]

Another Snakes on a Plane trailer for your perusal.
I’m just waiting for the one where Jackson yells “We got motherf*cking snakes!” and I’ll wet myself. Not even a little bit, a full blown bladder emptier.

It’s day three of my Irish observations and it’s time to reveal the first picture of the holiday. Have you ever been chased by a vampire in the dark of night and needed to fight it away? Ever needed to perform an emergency blessing on someone? Ever wanted to [...]

The World Cup is on in Germany and yesterday Portugal played Holland. It was a very bad tempered match, filled with violent tackles, angry pushings about and general overly dramatic strops. One of the most controversial moments was when Luis Figo, a Portuglish player, appeared to headbutt a Dutch player. Let’s face it, he did [...]

Hello and welcome to day 2 of my Irish observations. Today I hope to highlight the dedication and determination of the Irish.
Whilst in Cork, there was an Irish chap delivering newspapers. He wasn’t just delivering them house-to-house, oh no, that’s far too boring. No, he was standing in the middle of a [...]

What could be better than catapaulting an unsuspecting, nearly nude Japanese man into the snow?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing you could conceive could be better.
If the first half is a bit pedestrian for you, stick around until later in the clip when things get cranked up at least 3 full notches and it becomes a surreal version of the [...]

Fret not, I have returned from my travels safe and well. The country of Ireland is a lovely place, plus it’s also a bit mental, which is a perfect source of material for me to type at you with. So sit back and enjoy my Irish Observations…

I was already quite hyped for Danny Boyle’s next flick, Sunshine, but this latest web video diary thing made me realise just what a stupendously fanboy pleasing cast it’s got:
Cliff Curtis – Whale Rider, Collateral Damage, Training Day, Three Kings, Deep Rising, Once Were Warriors
Chris Evans – No, not that one. This one’s the only [...]

Opera 9 is out, which is nice. Sadly if you’re excited about the latest version of Opera you’re probably already using it, good for you. But if you’re not, you should, it’s aces.
I’ve looked at the site logs, given them a good sniff, some of you out there are using Internet Explorer. *sigh*

Recently signed up with tesco.com, (in order to purchase Brain Training for my forthcoming DS Lite, yes, I have launch day booked off work). As a rather cool/possibly scary in a big brother-esque way feature, they can list your favourite shopping items by showing you things bought with your clubcard.
Somewhere in the drunkosphere, a 28(?) [...]

No, I haven’t been bitten by an infectious leprechaun. It was just me practising my Irish lingo, for I am off on my jollies tomorrow and I’m headed for the Topaz Isle. Or whatever it’s called.
Aside from having a great time whilst away, I have but one objective, and this is it : To purchase [...]

UPDATED 23:00 14/06/2006.
Tonight was the night. The Feisty Kim did indeed don her finest running kit and she did indeed run The Race for Life around Silverstone racetrack. 5 km? Easy. She breezed through it.
If you ask me, she’s clearly a mental but I knew that she’d do it. This confidence is partly down to all the hard [...]
